Stevie Russell

Stevie won first prize at the Cannes Young Director Award in 2012, kicking off a decade-plus career in advertising. In that time, he has gone on to shoot large ad campaigns worldwide for brands including – Lidl, Heineken, KFC, Nestle and Ford in places like Dubai, Kyiv, Argentina, Kazakhstan and South Africa. Stevie’s music videos have reached over half a BILLION viewers online and in 2023 his script for The Cousin was selected and produced by RTE/Screen Ireland from hundreds of entries. Stevie works across a wide range, last year his work for Tayto won a Silver Shark for Comedy Direction. The year before his work for Lidl won a Bronze Sports Clio and his performance-led piece for Breast Cancer Ireland won an Effie. The scope and scale of this work spring from a desire to always build on and improve the core idea while casting for emotive, impactful performances.
