Neil O’Connor

Bio

Neil began his career as a filmmaker (B.A in Film – National Film School, IADT) and in 2007, he received a score commission to work with the RTE Symphony Orchestra. Since then, he completed a PhD in Music Composition at Trinity College. He has scored a number of features, documentaries, animations, commercials, shorts films for the Irish Film Board and Independent production houses, some of which have won international prizes and have premiered at the Sundance, Berlin and Tribeca Film Festivals.

Working in a multitude of styles in genres (both orchestral and electronic) as a performer and composer, Neil has his own studio for recording and mixing in 5.1.
